EJOT JA3 7.2" Solar Fastening System for Wood Purlins
The JA3 solar fasteners for wood structures features a highly engineered stainless steel thread form, that minimizes radial forces and expansion of the wood of the purlins. Screw a little less than 5 1/4" on the bottom (below the rubber grammut), and less than 2" above the rubber grammut.
Available with standard sealing element FZD or EJOT ORKAN Storm Washer upon request. Length variable to suit project. The JA3's specialized thread design gives maximum fastening performance in softwood substructures.
JA3-SB for wood substructures:
1. Internal SW5 hex drive used to drive the fastener through the roof panel into the substructure.
2. Adapter plates or L-feet for fastening the rail or racking system are mounted and secured by M10 lock nuts and washers.
3. FZD sealing washer below the precision-defined depth control stop.
4. EJOT JA3 self-taping screw 5/16" (8.0mm) x L.
