Hot Water Pumps

These are specialized water pumps for water above the usual 98 degrees warm water. They contain special heat resistant seals and bearing so withstand higher temperatures. Typically used in solar hot water systems as recirculating pumps between the roof top Solar Collectors and the storage tank. Other uses include hot water pumping for in floor heating to distribute the hot liquid to the various Zones under the floor.

This category also contains re-circ pumps to bring hot water to sinks and appliances that are a far distance from the hot water source by cleverly “dumping” the cooled off hot water into the cold-water side until the hot water arrives at the appliance.
